Founding Principal

…Our school prides itself in providing high-quality academic instruction enriched with globally-minded activities in a safe and productive environment. Our goal is to develop each child to their highest potential and to inspire them to be life-long learners. The children will learn in an environment of respect for their culture, language, and values while learning different languages, learning about various cultures, and expanding their minds to understand and embrace the diversity of the global community.
I am Dr. Nataliya Panasiuk, the founding principal of the Global Academy of South Carolina. I have over 20 years of experience in K-12 education, including teaching in elementary, middle, and high schools and serving as a principal of an independent charter high school for the past 14 years. In addition to having extensive experience and education in academic instruction, leadership and management, human resource development, and instructional coaching, I firmly believe that a strong and effective education is key to a better future for our society. I operate with integrity, respect, a high sense of responsibility, and care, and I look forward to working with you!

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

…experience working as an educator with K-12 and adults, I have had a chance to work in public & private schools as well as at non-profit organizations. My passion is to help people of all ages to realize their potential and help them achieve their dreams. I love to see people grow into productive members of society and find their purpose in life. Living and working abroad in several countries, like Mexico, Korea, Russia, and USA as well as visiting many other countries has not only created in me a love for cultures and languages, but also deepened my understanding of different people and how we’re all connected. I am excited to work for Global Academy where I can apply my skills and fulfill my desire to help people get the tools they need, build connections with other like minded people, and achieve their dreams.

…acknowledge that our dream has come true! It all started in 1999 when we committed to dedicating our lives to creating Global Academy schools that would serve local community children across the nation. With the help of our family and a handful of friends, our first school in California opened with only 70 students and grew to 1000 students in just a couple of years. As we moved to Florida a few years later, we extended our wisdom and expertise to found Global Outreach Charter Academy. The school opened with its first 200 students in 2001, and today, it serves more than 2,000 students from Kindergarten to 12th grade across three campuses. Now, we are blessed to see our vision grow in South Carolina. We are happy that the Global Charter school doors will open in this state. Our greatest passion is to see children receive a good education, develop mentally and physically, get acquainted with different cultures, learn foreign languages, and realize their full artistic and athletic potential. We want to take a moment and thank all our parents for believing in our vision and mission.
